The Upgrade Assistance Program is a service provided to current Tableau Server license holders in need of assistance in the planning and transition of their Tableau Server to a higher version. This service is intended for non-production (ie. Dev or Test/QA) environments only, and is not a substitute for Tableau's Support request process in an urgent production scenario.
When scheduling an Upgrade Assistance engagement, please note that upgrade assistance is only available Monday through Friday during regular business hours in the region you select below. Please allow 2-4 weeks to schedule the engagement. If this does not meet your current needs, please file a support ticket via the customer portal.
After your request is received, you will receive a response from Tableau Global Services within the next 2-5 business days requesting a call to assess your environment and confirm suitability for the Upgrade Assistance Program, and determine appropriate windows for your engagement.
