DataFam Speaks with Chris Hastie

Chris began his data journey working on the ETL and reporting of procurement data in the healthcare industry. It quickly became clear that he was deeply interested in designing and creating new processes and visualizations. Chris dedicated as much time as possible to learning new ways to construct dashboards with accessible supporting processes and to clean up unnecessarily lengthy or convoluted processes behind existing systems. Continuing this trend at InterWorks, his passion is to not only provide elegant and simple solutions to complex problems personally, but also to provide others with the knowledge and tools to do this themselves. As Chris has grown in his role, he has further developed his skills and shifted his focus. His ongoing push toward process automation and backend development—from initial data sourcing through to cloud data warehousing and preparing data for analysis—aligns very well with Chris' passion for being a Tableau DataDev.
