Suzette Kent

Federal Chief Information Officer

Suzette Kent was appointed by President Trump as the Federal CIO in January of 2018. She joins the government from the private sector where she has been a global leader in large-scale business transformation for over 20 years. Her professional experiences cover a wide spectrum, which includes technology development, mergers and acquisitions, and establishing new global industry capabilities.
Before taking the role of Federal CIO, Suzette previously served as a principal at EY, partner at Accenture, consulting president at Carreker Corporation, and Managing Director at JPMorgan. She has been a frequent speaker in global industry forums, author of leadership editorials, and holds multiple patents in finance and banking processes.
In her role as the Federal CIO, Mrs. Kent is responsible for all government-wide IT policies and spending. In addition to her daily duties, Mrs. Kent also chairs the Federal CIO Council and the Technology Modernization Fund Board.

Adam Selipsky

Former President & CEO, Tableau

Adam Selipsky is the former President and CEO at Tableau. Selipsky spent over a decade building Amazon Web Services, one of the most successful technology platforms in the world. His leadership helped grow AWS from a start-up into a multi-billion dollar business and establish it as the undisputed market leader in cloud computing. Selipsky served as Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Support for AWS. Prior to joining Amazon, he was an executive at RealNetworks, leading the video subscription and media player division. Before that, he was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting, a strategy consulting firm. He holds an A.B. in government and an MBA from Harvard University.

Steven J. Spano

Brig. Gen (Ret), US Air Force and Senior Area Vice President for Public Sector  

Brig. Gen (Ret) Steven J. Spano, US Air Force, is the Regional Vice President for Public Sector at Tableau. He leads the vertical strategy as well as product, services and training sales to the Federal, State and Local Governments and education markets. Prior to joining Tableau, Steve served as the President and Chief Operating Officer for the Center for Internet Security (CIS), an International Nonprofit organization focusing on enhancing cyber security readiness and response for public and private sector entities. Prior to CIS, he served as the General Manager, Defense and National Security for Amazon Web Service's Global Public Sector, where he built and led both businesses. Steve retired from the USAF in September 2011. He commanded at all levels and served in key joint assignments at the National Security Agency, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and as the senior IT and Cyber leader for Multi-National Forces Iraq. Steve was born in Albany, NY. He was commissioned in 1983 through the ROTC program at Norwich University and holds master degrees from John Hopkins University and Troy State University.

Casey Coleman

SVP, Global Public Sector Digital Transformation - Salesforce

Casey Coleman is Senior Vice President for Digital Transformation, Salesforce Global Public Sector. She is responsible for enterprise positioning and solutions strategies for government customers worldwide.

Before joining Salesforce, Casey served as chief information officer at the U.S. General Services Administration. There she led several modernization initiatives, including the first agency-wide move to cloud-based email and collaboration platforms. Casey chaired the federal CIO Council’s Cloud First committee that developed the FedRAMP standard for cloud cybersecurity.

Casey began her career as an engineer with Lockheed Martin and has held sales, consulting and management roles at several technology startups focused on the enterprise IT space.

Casey holds several honors and awards from various organizations, including the Computerworld Premier 100 Award and the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium Award for Leadership in Innovation. She is a three-time winner of the Federal Computer Week Federal 100 Award.

Casey holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as a B.S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.

Amber Noel is the Analysis & Communications Branch Chief for FEMA’s Enterprise Analytics Division, a team that strives to empower the Agency analytics community, build cross-cutting analytic capabilities, and provide trusted, high-impact decision support. The team’s vision is for FEMA to drive better outcomes for citizens and first responders by working smarter through its innovative and impactful use of data analytics. We connect decision makers with the analysis they need by making insights from analysis accessible and actionable. Prior to joining FEMA, Amber worked in education policy research, supporting clients from local school districts to the National Center for Education Statistics. She holds a Master’s in Statistical Science from George Mason University.

Amy Mersereau-Cooper

Supply Chain Systems Director, Office of Procurement & Logistics - Veterans Health Administration

Amy Mersereau-Cooper is a dedicated progressive IT Logistics professional. Raised as a Logistician, evolved into a Supply Chain systems Director with a passion in data analytics. A strategist with a side of nurturing who sees potential everywhere.

Amy Mersereau-Cooper is the Supply Chain Systems Director for the Office of Procurement and Logistics, Veterans Health Administration. Amy supports the VA with the acquisition, implementation, and enterprise deployment of integrated supply chain programs and technology solutions. Amy has a long career of public service staring with her active duty in the United States Army, Working for the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Steven Boand

State Hazard Mitigation Officer at Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management - State of Colorado

Steve Boand currently serves as the State Hazard Mitigation Officer in the Colorado Office of Emergency Management. He previously served as the State Disaster Recovery Manager for four Presidentially declared Colorado disasters. Steve served as a local elected official for over twenty years, including service as a County Commissioner, Councilmember and Mayor, and special district board member. Steve has over thirty years of experience in environmental geology.

Mr. Boand holds certifications in emergency management including FEMA's Advanced Professional, Master Exercise Practitioner, and Professional Continuity Practitioner designations. Steve Boand holds a Master of Public Administration degree in disaster management and has completed the Sloan School of Management’s (MIT) executive program in leadership and management.

Lawrence Roakes

Division Director, Data Analytics - Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council

Lawrence is the Division Director – Data Analytics for the Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council. STRAC develops regional emergency response systems, conducts healthcare research, and coordinates healthcare policy for healthcare and public safety agencies in southwest Texas. He leads STRAC’s data analytics program. He is responsible for analytics consulting, design, and implementation. He also works with database management and custom software design. Lawrence has thirty years’ experience in the fire and EMS service as a volunteer and career firefighter. He completed his fire service career as a Captain with Hanover, VA Fire-EMS leading their information technology and data efforts. He has private industry experience in emergency apparatus design and sales as well as fire special hazard suppression systems project management. Lawrence holds a BA in English from the University of Virginia and an MBA – Decision Analytics from Virginia Commonwealth University.
