Nordic's Unite: Best of 2024.1-3 using Data + TV data

We are combining our Nordic TUG forces (Finland, Stockholm and Norway), inviting Denmark and Iceland and give you 2 hours of exciting presentations, including a key-note from Tableau Visionary Hall of Fame Chantilly Jaggernauth. And there will be possibilities to win Tableau swag!! If you also meet up in-person - there will be food & drinks.

  • Welcome & Introduction
  • Design Secrets for a Non-Designer: Keynote from Chantilly Jaggernauth (Visionary Hall of Famer, VP of BI & Data Analytics at Lovelytics). In today's data-driven world, the ability to distill complex information into compelling narratives is paramount. This will be an enlightening exploration of "The Art of Big Data Storytelling," where Chantilly delve into the art and science of conveying insights through powerful data visualization and it focuses on the design aspect of the Art of Big Data Storytelling.
  • Denmark - Visualizing Soft Values: Presentation from Marc Schønwandt (MASC). We all know Tableau is a powerful visualization tool, but how can we use it to represent concepts that don’t come with clear numbers attached? In this session, Marc Schønwandt will explore working with and visualizing 'Soft Data' and demonstrate how Tableau enabled him to transform the qualitative world of aesthetics into an interactive network graph for deeper exploration.
  • Finland - Multi-fact Relationship Data Models: Presentation from Tero Honko (Solita) Tableau Multi-fact relationship Data Models: Lessons Learned
  • Iceland - Optimizing Customer Engagement in Volatile Times: Presentation from Sverrir Eðvald Jonsson (Landsbankinn). Iceland went from having low inflation and its lowest interest rate ever during the COVID period, to having one of the highest inflation and interest rate in Europe. Sverrir will explore how data analysis and visualization through Tableau has helped in navigating and optimizing customer engagement through these volatile times.
  • Norway - The Best of 2024.1-3: Presentation from Tableau Jedi Tore Levinsen (Inmeta). Tore will show his favourite features from Tableau released in 2024 (.1, .2 and the newly released .3) - using Data + TV data set!
