Sabih Khan is a 10-year veteran of the police force, who had the opportunity to spearhead the first Crime Analysis & Intelligence Unit for the Skokie Police Department, where he was responsible for implementing data-driven policing initiatives and strategies. Sabih is regarded as SME on data-driven policing and has had the opportunity to travel the country speaking on this topic. In the fall of 2017, he started his new role as Data Analytics Manager for the Village of Skokie, where he was tasked with driving BI initiatives throughout every village department and lead a village-wide innovation team.

Having spent 10+ years in BI, Joseph has been a Data Analyst, Quality Assurance Lead, ETL Developer, Project Manager and is currently a Tableau Solution Consultant on the State & Local Government team. A runner, baseball fan, and avid taco eater, he makes his home just south of downtown Austin.

Dr. Brita Andercheck

Director, Administration and Performance Management, Dallas Transportation Department

Dr. Andercheck is an expert in advanced statistical modeling and predictive analytics, including structural equation modeling, mixture models, latent class analysis, multi-level models, and multivariate regression analysis. Her research using advanced statistical modeling and focusing on issues of stratification, race and gender has appeared in multiple peer reviewed journals and received media coverage on six continents. Brita brings over a decade of experience as a data analytics expert and has instituted new strategic directions by building and leading the Data and Business Analytics Team for the City of Dallas. Dr. Andercheck earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from Southern Methodist University, a Master’s Degree in Government from Georgetown University, a Master’s Degree in Sociology from Baylor University, and a Ph.D. from Baylor University in Sociology.
