The Unified Access Token (UAT) simplifies authentication and access management for Tableau Cloud by providing a single, scoped token that works across both site-level and Tableau Cloud Manager APIs. It enables administrators and automation tools to securely manage Tableau Cloud environments at scale, reducing friction and improving security through fine-grained access controls.

Discover how to connect any REST APIs directly to Tableau without writing custom code or complex configurations. This session demonstrates the new REST API Connector's capabilities including flexible authentication, pagination support, and the ability to join multiple API endpoints through relationships. Attendees will learn how to leverage this connector to unlock API data for analytics and visualization.

Tara Morton

Tara Morton is a Product Manager, with prior experience as a Services Practices Leader and a Solution Architect. Tara is a fun-loving data geek who finds joy in helping people get to the root of the problem they want to address. She draws from her academic background to design experiments and identify KPIs to address each person's most pressing business questions in a delightful, visually appealing way. When she's not tweaking models in a viz or counting the poses 'til savasana, you can find her spinning fire with her husband on stage.

Timothy Vermeiren

Tableau & Data Visualisation Consultant at Biztory & DataDev Ambassador

Timothy is a passionate analytics specialist from Belgium with a comprehensive knowledge of Tableau and related topics such as automation, integrations, and embedding. At Biztory, he acts as a “DataDev” where he gets to work on fun Tableau-oriented products. His hobbies include running, playing the guitar or drums (poorly), listening to metal music or simply enjoying a beer with his friends. Last but not least, he made it to 2018 Global Iron Viz Champion! His biggest ambition of the decade, successfully tackled. Tristan and his partner run a remote-first data visualization studio, LaDataViz. Renowned as a Tableau Visionary, Ambassador, and the 2017 Iron Viz Champion, he's fervently pushing the boundaries of conventional tools. He has crafted specialized products to create advanced visualizations in Tableau, simplify the process of building KPI dashboards, and a plugin to convert Figma design to Tableau dashboard automatically. To democratize data visualization expertise, Tristan consistently shares insights through educational content on YouTube and a subscriber-based newsletter. All of this contributes to his overarching goal of maintaining a location-independent business operation.

Wilson Po is a Product Director for Tableau's Visualization Authoring, which includes Viz Extensions efforts and relevant aspects to the Extensions API.  He's been at Tableau for over 15 years; prior his current product role, he has held roles working with Tableau customers across verticals in both Pre-Sales and Post Sales Implementation practices.   

Joe Constantino

Senior Product Manager, Tableau

Joe Constantino is a Senior Product Manager responsible for powering Conversational Analytics experiences. During his 3 years at Tableau, he helped lead the Tableau Agent product, and is currently working on integrations with 3rd party agentic frameworks and a Tableau-MCP Server. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Management in Information Systems from the University of Michigan.

Ruby Werman

Senior Member of Technical Staff, Tableau at Salesforce

Ruby Werman is a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity and Authentication team at Tableau. She works on authentication solutions that power secure and scalable access across Tableau Cloud, including the Unified Access Token and REST API scope support. Over her time at Tableau, Ruby has also contributed to Tableau Cloud Manager, building enterprise and admin tools that enable large-scale Tableau Cloud operations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Kyle Massey

VP Lead Software Engineer

Kyle is a 3x Tableau DataDev Ambassador and Tableau Featured Author who lives with his husband, Dan, in Columbus, OH. He is a Lead Software Engineer managing the central development and automation team for Business Intelligence tools at JPMorgan Chase. Kyle co-leads the DataPride TUG, which creates a space to learn, network and share for the LGBTQIA+ members of the #DataFam and our allies. He is originally from Cincinnati, OH but moved to Columbus in 2004 to attend the Ohio State University and never left! In his spare time, Kyle enjoys playing video games, spending time with his pets – Kevin (dog) & Willie (cat).
