Tableau Events FAQ

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, our first priority is to help ensure the health and safety of our customers, partners, employees, and communities. With this in mind, we have made the decision to reimagine all physical events through the end of the year, including Tableau Conference and Tableau Conference Europe. We will be reimagining them to bring all of the fun, innovation, and learning to our dedicated community.

What is the status of Tableau events?

What virtual events are currently available?

We have a variety of upcoming events. Please take a look at our Community Events page to see what’s happening soon.


Will Tableau Conference and Tableau Conference Europe come back in 2021?

We are closely monitoring the public health concerns around COVID-19 and will follow public health guidance in relation to in-person events for 2021. We look forward to the time when it is safe to engage with our community in person.


Will Tableau refund Tableau Conference Europe (TCE) tickets purchased?

Yes, Tableau Software will refund the full TCE ticket price paid, in the same form as payment was made.

  • Credit Card Payments - For all credit card payments, Tableau will automatically begin the refund process. Refunds will post to the credit card originally used for payment within 14 business days.

  • Pay by PO/Wire Transfer - For payments via PO, customers will receive an email with a banking document form which they will need to complete and return to initiate the bank transfer. Once returned to Tableau, the refund will be processed within 14 business days.


I purchased a TCE Training or Certification during registration, will they be reimbursed?

Yes, all refunds will include any additional training workshops and/or certification exams.


Can I apply a conference pass to a future year?

Unfortunately, we cannot transfer registrations to future years.
