Kok Ping Soon
Ping Soon is Chief Executive of the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech), the lead agency driving Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative and public sector digital transformation. Prior to his current appointment, Ping Soon held various positions in the Ministry of Manpower, National Security Co-ordination Secretariat, Ministry of Trade & Industry, Singapore Tourism Board, Contact Singapore (CS) and Economic Development Board (EDB). He spent six years in the United States working for CS and EDB. He serves on the Board of Info-comm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), Institute of System Sciences (ISS) and is a member of the National Institute of Education (NIE) Council.
Sutowo Wong
Sutowo is responsible for analytics strategy, management and prioritization of analytics portfolio, capability development, data management and data science in MOH. Prior to his role in MOH, he was in various analytics leadership roles with experience across various domains such as customer, fraud/risk, HR, finance and operations. He worked with organizations in public service, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, CPG, retail, telco, banking, insurance, energy, airlines and hospitality in Southeast Asia, China, India and Japan.
Leslie Ong
Leslie leads the Southeast Asia business for Tableau and is responsible for driving customer success and expanding the company’s presence in SEA. He oversees the region’s business and operations including sales, go-to-market strategy, channel ecosystem management and talent management. Leslie has over 30 years of experience in the industry, in which he has held several leadership roles in VMware, Oracle and Hewlett Packard (HP), effecting instrumental change and success in those roles. Prior to joining Tableau, Leslie worked for VMware where he held the position of Regional Director for South East Asia and Korea, responsible for driving growth in the software-defined data centre solutions business and later in strategic partnerships.
Steven J. Spano
Brig. Gen (Ret) Steven J. Spano, US Air Force, is the Senior Area Vice President for Public Sector at Tableau. He leads the vertical strategy as well as product, services and training sales to the Federal, State and Local Governments and education markets. Prior to joining Tableau, Steve served as the President and Chief Operating Officer for the Center for Internet Security (CIS), an international nonprofit organization focusing on enhancing cyber security readiness and response for public and private sector entities. Prior to CIS, he served as the General Manager, Defense and National Security for Amazon Web Service's Global Public Sector, where he built and led both businesses. Steve retired from the USAF in September 2011 after serving over 28 years as an IT and Cyber leader. He commanded at all levels and served in key joint assignments at the National Security Agency, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and as the senior IT and Cyber leader for Multi-National Forces Iraq.
Srinivas Kosaraju
Srinivas leads the team of Solution Engineers that supports Tableau’s North American Public Sector customers. He started his career in healthcare and life sciences building first generation data warehouses for EMR and medical hardware companies. For the last fifteen years, Srinivas has worked in the Public Sector supporting large Federal and State and local agencies as they implement analytics to drive better outcomes for citizens. He is also a thought leader, speaking to agency leads and at conferences about how to develop a data culture and the science of visualization.
Ng Seng Ping
Seng Ping is responsible for the ASEAN Public Sector business at Salesforce. Before joining Salesforce, he served as the Regional Director at Workday where he worked closely to partner with the Singapore Public Sector on the first Whole Of Government Cloud ERP (Software As A Service). His past experience spans across other companies including Google and Microsoft where he was responsible for starting the cloud and industry business for the strategic enterprise and public sector.
Sarah Battersby
With the Tableau Research team, Sarah’s primary area of focus is cartography, with an emphasis on cognition. Her work emphasizes how to help everyone visualize and use spatial information more effectively – no advanced degree in geospatial required. Sarah holds a PhD in GIScience from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She is a member of the International Cartographic Association Commission on Map Projections, and is a Past President of the Cartography and Geographic Information Society (CaGIS). Sarah is also a member of the National Geospatial Advisory Committee, a Federal Advisory Committee sponsored by the Department of the Interior under the Federal Advisory Committee Act.
Benjamin Tan
For the past decade, Benjamin has been immersed in the business intelligence industry with extensive knowledge and experience in data preparation, data warehousing, enterprise reporting and data visualization. His unique passion for visual analytics led him to the mastery of Tableau over the last 3 years. He has been active in supporting requirements from government, insurance and healthcare clients. Currently as the Lead Solution Engineer at Tableau, Benjamin continues to help many organizations realize their data discovery capabilities and be empowered with fresh insights at work.
Katerina Hanna
Katerina is an experienced business leader, with a track record of building and scaling multicultural teams and growing business in EMEA and APJ regions. She is passionate about facilitating personal, team and organizational transformation, delivering client success and launching new operating models in complex global organizations. In her current role in Tableau, Katerina leads the Customer Success organization in APJ region. Her role expands to leading multinational accounts program globally. She is driving innovation for growth and sustainability initiatives across the global Customer Solutions business.
