In the coming weeks we will begin upgrading all .tde extracts on Tableau Cloud to .hyper extracts. The upgrade will start the week of April 2nd with all upgrades completed by April 13th.
If you think you won’t be able to upgrade your Tableau Desktops, which are an important component in using .hyper extracts, by April 2nd or if you have other concerns with this timeline, you can temporarily delay this conversion until May 7th.
