Digital Disruption is changing what we do – and how we get things done – in countless ways. As many of us have noticed, we’re heading for another big upheaval in Finance – and the future of finance is bright for those who embrace it and shape it. Nat will take us through a journey of what Finance 2025 will look like – he will touch upon the role of finance, finance cycles, enterprise data, finance systems and the workforce and workplace of 2025. None of this is pie-in-the-sky and will be here sooner than you think.
Learn how Deloitte Finance is using Tableau to push their dashboard strategy and how it is being used to improve Firm performance by using more enhanced visualization, interactivity, and connectivity.
Learn how Merck went from reporting cycles of weeks to hours and enabled faster conversations about critical finance data. This presentation will include: Where and how Merck is using Tableau in the office of finance, challenges Merck faced in adoption of Tableau and how they overcame them, and
live dashboard demos (with dummy data, of course)

Marjorie Waters is a Director of Finance at Merck, a global pharmaceutical company. Born and raised in Texas, she started at Merck right out of college (that’s 24 years at the same company!). She didn’t set out to work in Finance, she has a Master’s degree in Chemistry and spent her first 15 years as an organic chemist. Realizing that analytics and problem solving have uses outside of the labs, she hung up her lab coat and put on her open toed shoes and took a series of roles that have ultimately led to a role in FP&A. Currently as Director of Transformation, Marjorie is focused on bringing new analytics and tools to Corporate Finance.
