With most analysis experiences, the user is guided through a series of wizards to achieve some end result. Tableau is different in that the user simply drags and drops to visually pivot through their data. This drag and drop exploratory process allows the user to focus on what questions to ask about their data and makes the software fast and flexible. See an example view below that requires nothing more than dragging the zip code and sales fields onto the canvas to answer the question "How well are we selling in various zip codes?"
