Joseph Roach

Director of Financial Policy and Analysis, HRSA

During Joe's 20+ year Federal career, he has worked in several capacities within the technology management arena, including serving as the CIO and deputy CIO at the HHS Office of the Inspector General and HRSA, respectively. Other responsibilities during his tenure include IT management positions for enterprise architecture, systems management, and IT capital planning.

Joe currently supports the Chief Financial Officer where he is a champion for new approaches in financial data analysis by utilizing data visualization tools to dissect large data sets and identify anomalies or patterned transactions. Always searching for new ways to better inform or improve internal decision making, Joe provides data visualization support to areas such as financial reporting, internal controls testing efforts, resource management, as well as transparency into a myriad of financial operations transactions.

A native of the D.C. metro area, Joe graduated from the University of Maryland and Bowie State University with a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration. In addition to spending time with his wife and four children, Joe loves all outdoor activities and continues to actively coach youth track & cross country for the past 15 years.
