Making data driven decisions is one of the best ways to ensure that public agencies are investing their resources in the right places and at the right time. While this was once a skillset that was limited to specialists and analysts, Tableau opens the door to making analytics part of how all public service officers perform their daily duties and are empowered to make evidence-based decisions on their own. In this session, Jonathan will share the newest capabilities for augmented analytics, machine learning, and other innovations that will continue to deliver cutting edge analytics to the community. He will also show new ways to enable collaboration, sharing results widely and across devices with ease. Not only is Tableau leading in the field with these new capabilities, we make them easy and intuitive to use. Come discover how Tableau’s enterprise analytics platform can support the mission of your agency in delivering world-class, citizen-centric public services and solutions.

Speaker:

As Singapore faces increasing demand for land transport services due to population growth and escalating economic activities, intelligence needs to be embedded in our digital solutions to enhance the travel experience beyond accelerating infrastructure development.

Speaker:

Take a short break to stretch and recharge. Have a chat with Tableau experts and our partners at the booths.

Most organizations fail in their bid to transform into one that fully embraces and harnesses the value of data in its operations. This may be due to a mismatch of expectations, a rush to succeed without redesigning job roles and providing the right tools, and the lack of a ‘data culture’ internally. The primary reason for failure is seldom due to technology but rather how people and processes were structured. GovTech recently started its own journey to embrace the use of data analytics. Kelvin will share GovTech's framework to become data analytics-ready in a scalable and sustainable way, by restructuring the role of data science, and providing systematic training, software and tools to enable their workforce. He will also introduce a Data Literacy ePrimer prototype, built to support a whole-of-government initiative.

Speaker:

Hear from Grace and Eileen from the Applied Analytics Office at MAS on how their data analytics journey started, and also gain insights into some of the interesting technology projects they embarked on. The standardizaton of an enterprise analytics platform at MAS, and the design of a comprehensive enablement program focused on training their workforce and advocating new thinking, was a game-changer for the entire organization. Our presenters will also be sharing examples of how they partnered other local public agencies to promote data analytics capabilities and foster innovations in public service administration and delivery.

Speakers:

Designing your Tableau enablement journey is key to getting you started on discovering insights and driving meaningful changes for your organization. Hear from Andy on the available Tableau training and certification offerings and options that can help build essential data skills and get you recognized as a Tableau expert in no time.
