User Group Meeting of the Week: Western Washington K-12 + Colorado K-12

This week, we’re spotlighting education! Western Washington K-12 and Colorado K-12 joined forces to discuss how different school districts empower teachers and advisors to best serve their students. Every Spring, Clare Sims with the Boulder (Colorado) Valley School District digs into the following question: Who are our students next year? By visualizing school data using Tableau, Clare can identify areas of improvement and draw actionable insights. David Ogden from the Renton (Washington) School District walks through dashboards for student transitions to respond to school requests and support students who are transitioning from one grade to another. Lizzy Barker and Nick Teal, joining us from the Kent (Washington) School District, finds patterns with year over year enrollments and focuses on class capacity planning.
