We’re accountable for the direction and integrity of the brand, and for the stories, look and feel, and communications that bring it to life. We seek to elevate Tableau to create awareness and engage people with the right message at the right time—wherever they are in the world.
Product and Partner Marketing
Product and Partner Marketing set the foundation for bringing products to market globally and champion the collective power of Tableau and Salesforce. We are trusted advisors to product, sales, and marketing teams, and nurture a broad ecosystem of partners who build complementary solutions to drive purchase, adoption, and usage of Tableau.
Customer Strategy and Programs
The Customer Strategy and Programs team champions existing and future customers, orchestrating action across the customer lifecycle to develop customers for life. We drive audience and industry strategy, and shepherd the program execution of go-to-market efforts. We specialize in audience personas and journeys, industries, messaging, storytelling, and executive engagement.
Global Communication and Public Affairs
Our team creates awareness and elevates the Tableau brand both internally and externally, by carefully crafting and curating content, events, and engaging programs that foster and support our Tableau culture. We create brand champions and further amplify Tableau's vision around the world through earned media, executive thought leadership, and forging strategic partnerships that can inform data-driven policymaking, innovate through philanthropy, and inspire the next generation of data leaders.
World-class events have been a hallmark of Tableau and a core part of our brand. From creating unique data-driven experiences to bringing product training to the masses, the Events team has always set the bar high to foster a legion of data-loving customers, partners, community, and prospects. Whether in-person or virtually, we surprise and delight attendees by bringing Tableau to life in every aspect of their unforgettable event experience.
Everything the Marketing Operations team does is aimed at delivering and optimizing exceptional customer experiences through the intersection of digital, technology, and analytics. We build, manage, and enhance marketing software and technology, enabling organizational effectiveness. We leverage data, analytics, and our diverse skill sets in service of customers and the broader organization.
It is our mission to elevate and activate the “magic” that is the Tableau Community. We find, foster, and enable data rockstars to advocacy around analytics and Tableau. Through programs like User Groups, Tableau Visionaries, and Iron Viz, we give community leaders a platform to drive excitement around data. We leverage the power of Tableau Public to advance our mission. We help build the data people of tomorrow by empowering students and instructors with Tableau. Global Field Marketing
Global Field Marketing is where the work of the entire Marketing department is brought to life with and for our customers. We are the face of Tableau Marketing to Sales and to our customers, responsible for being their voice when communicating with the core marketing engine. Our Field Marketing teams champion and drive regional strategy and execution of global campaigns to elevate the brand and foster Data Culture.
