National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is helping everyone living in Singapore to develop lifelong habits of giving, building through an intelligent platform ecosystem (giving.sg) where data is critical to the success. The platform uses timely nudges and simple micro action to help individuals start giving in different ways and at different life stages, while weaving their actions together to form meaningful personal journey. It then connects these individuals with other stakeholders to learn about the community needs, co-create solutions to reach the last-mile and build linkages to achieve sustainable impact. As giving always points to serving someone or something other than oneself, this will lead us to become a caring and inclusive society.
