This week, we sat down with Buchi Okofar, a recent graduate of Miami University, to discuss how he used Tableau in his internship at Under Armour.

This week we chose the top three winning vizzes based on creativity, analytical depth, beauty and design, and overall score. Winners will receive a Tableau swag package for their amazing work in Tableau.

Tableau’s integration with R, Python and MATLAB is quite popular due to its platform agnostic nature but if the results from these languages are tables with arbitrary number of rows and columns or if you’d like to save the results in an extract, it wouldn’t be the right choice.

When creating dashboards, visual elements don’t have to be restricted to the data visualization alone, but can also extend to the titles, legends, labels, and help elements—grabbing readers’ attention and helping them process and understand your visualization faster.
