Tableau Conference and 2020 events update

To help ensure the health and safety of our customers, partners, employees, and communities, we’ve decided to reimagine all in-person events through 2020 to virtual experiences.

Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our employees, customers, community, and partners. That simple fact is what led us to decide—after several weeks of reflection, consultation with experts, and working closely with Salesforce leadership—to reimagine Tableau in-person events in new and virtual ways through 2020.

This includes Tableau Conference 2020 (Las Vegas, October 5-8, 2020), Tableau Conference Europe (London, postponed from June 2020), and all other physical events for the remainder of the year.

There is absolutely nothing like the Tableau Community out there. When we all join together at a Tableau event, the atmosphere is electric. We are planning to bring this same energy to our Community in new and innovative ways, virtually.

We’re already seeing an incredible response to virtual events like the recent Visualize Health event, the upcoming Government Summit 2020 (May 12), and IT Virtual Summit (June 16). And the #DataFamCommunityJam brings the enthusiasm, deep data geekery, and pure joy that make Tableau Community events so special. I hope you check them out.

I am genuinely excited to see how we will innovate and create these new virtual engagements and training. I have every confidence that our team will bring the same energy, knowledge, and fun that have become the hallmark of our in-person events to these new virtual events.

As you can imagine, there are still many details to be figured out. In the meantime, be sure to keep an eye on our Events page and mark your calendars, because we’re going to make these events more exciting, more educational, and more inspirational than ever before!
