Tableau Next 301: Interoperability & Integration

Libby Knell is a product manager at Tableau, motivated by the opportunity to empower others to clean, shape, see and understand their data. Her work focuses on Tableau Prep, a visual self-service data preparation tool that makes it easier and faster for anyone to clean and shape data for analysis. She’s an active member of the Tableau community and was a Dev on Stage during Tableau Conference’s keynote in 2023. She has a bachelors degree in Computer Science with a minor in Education from the University of Washington, Seattle.

Tyler Weldon (Ph.D.) is the Tableau Community Learning Program Manager at Salesforce. Previously, Tyler spent over a decade in higher education where he worked in the areas of adult education, web development, and data analytics. Prior to joining Tableau, Tyler managed a university-wide learning management system, created detailed analytical reports using big data and Tableau, and developed faculty training/webinars. Tyler also was an adjunct instructor for the UAB Computer Science department and Graduate School. Tyler previously served as an instructional designer and web application developer creating training material and mobile applications. Tyler’s mobile application, SOW, can still be found in the Apple and Google Play stores. Tyler combines his technology background with education and science degrees to create new and innovative approaches to curriculum and project management.
