Compare the 2015 UK flood to historical data

In 2015, the United Kingdom experienced its warmest December on record and the wettest December since 1929. An average of 8.3 inches of rain fell across the country, causing widespread flooding. Information Lab CTO and Tableau Visionary Craig Bloodworth mapped the flooding and published the dashboard to Tableau Public. The result shows the locations of flood alerts, flooding footprints, and river levels compared to historical averages.
