Phil is a product manager at Tableau, where he brings AI to life in Tableau Pulse—crafting experiences that turn statistical signals into stories people can act on. With a background spanning dashboard design, analytics, rendering engines, and extensibility frameworks, he’s spent over a decade helping users see and understand their data more clearly. Before Tableau, Phil shaped a wide range of products at Microsoft, from search engines and mobile apps to natural language and social platforms. He lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of America with his wife and twin daughters. Outside of work, he finds joy in books, paddle-boarding, gardening, electronic music, amateur astronomy, and yoga—always curious, always making.
