Advancing Racial Justice

PolicyLink

Building a data-driven movement to advance racial and economic equity.

Systemic racial inequity affects every community in the U.S. Through bold and tailored strategies, PolicyLink believes these gaps can be closed—and all can benefit from shared prosperity.

Partnership start date: 2017

Total funding committed: $1,856,363

Region: United States

Website: https://www.policylink.org/

What they do
PolicyLink’s work focuses on how people are working successfully at the community level to use local, state, and federal policy to create conditions that benefit everyone, especially people in low-income communities and communities of color.

What our partnership does
Tableau Foundation is working with PolicyLink to build their internal capacity to visualize and share data from their National Equity Atlas, the American Community Survey and more sources. With these visualizations, PolicyLink can further inform and support policy advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels for individuals of color and historically marginalized communities.
