About
Robert Kincaid is a senior research scientist with a background in research of a broad range of novel visual analytics for scientific and technical applications. His current research focus is exploring techniques and design solutions that enable the Tableau platform to be accessible to a larger and more diverse community of users.
Before Tableau, Robert was a Senior Research Scientist at Agilent Laboratories later Keysight Laboratories, developing novel visual analytics in support of life science and electronic measurement applications. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell University and is a Senior Member of both the IEEE and the Association for Computing Machinery.
