State of Colorado: Understanding and Mitigating the Economic Impact of Climate Change

By popular demand, this session comes to you from Tableau's Virtual Government Summit, from the spring of 2020. The State of Colorado is one of 30 states who are using FEMA data in a pilot program to track the impact and emergency response of climate related issues such as floods and wildfires. This is an incredibly important issue and one that will not go away, even as attention and funding is focused on this current pandemic. In this session, Steve will discuss how his department continues to track the economic impact of climate change, which is made even more complex due to our current state.
