About
Matt is a lead research staff member of Tableau Research, where he designs, implements, and evaluates new interactive experiences for communicating and collaborating around data.
A complete list of Matt's projects and publications can be found on his personal site (mattbrehmer.ca). Before joining Tableau, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia. He also has degrees specializing in Human-Computer Interaction and Cognitive Science.
