Desktop 201
This workshop is designed for the intermediate Tableau user who has solid working experience with Tableau and wants to further their Tableau Desktop skills. In this workshop, you will learn more about data connections, calculations, and Tableau features.
Desktop 301: Advanced Calculations
This workshop is designed for the advanced Tableau user who wants to learn more about creating and using calculations and table calculations. You will review calculation types used in Tableau, learn advanced table calculations, explore level of detail (LOD) expressions, and discuss when to use which type of calculation.
Desktop 302: Visualizations for Analysis
This workshop is designed for the advanced Tableau user who wants to learn how to create and use more complex visualization types. In this workshop, you will learn about different advanced chart types, their recommended use cases, and how to build them.
Tableau Prep: Shaping Your Data
Learn the ins-and-outs of Tableau Prep to combine, shape, and clean your data. You’ll walk away knowing how to create flows then output them for analysis in Tableau Desktop.

Visual Analytics: Theory and Best Practices
This workshop is designed for the intermediate Tableau user. Students in this class know their way around Tableau Desktop but want to improve their visualization skills while learning visual best practices. You will learn how memory and the human visual system affect how we interpret information. Using this knowledge, you can apply visual best practices that make your dashboards both visually pleasing and informative.
