Caroline Yam

Community Manager, Tableau

A native Aussie, Caroline is part of the APJ Tableau Community team leading the community and user group program. From the sunny coasts of Singapore and across the oceans to Australia, India and Japan, she helps to connect Tableau users with each other and empower them to share their love of visual analytics for the APAC region. Beyond her role in enabling the community, she loves to eat noodles and is passionate on working on Diversity & Inclusion projects internally.

Steve Street

Principal Solution Engineer, Tableau

Steve Street is a Principal Solution Engineer at Tableau based out of Perth, Western Australia and has been immersed in data technologies and solutions for over 20 years. With a grounding in database technologies and data modelling Steve gravitated to reporting and analytics as a way to help business users support their decisions with information.

Steve has worked in the IT industry throughout his career, largely as a contractor in the UK and now based in sunny Perth in Western Australia. Having worked with many of the leading vendors in the BI space, Steve now works for the #1 Analytics platform Tableau. As a Principal Solution Engineer Steve’s role is to listen to customers and prospects and help them understand how analytics can help support and promote their business, enabling scalable self-service analytics across organisations of all sizes.

Steve also has the role of Technology Evangelist for Tableau, helping promote the benefits, both personal and organisational, of analytics, and how Tableau helps people see and understand data.

Marc Psaila

Lead Solution Engineer, Tableau

Marc is a Lead Solution Engineer at Tableau and is a self-proclaimed data geek, with a fascination in connecting to a dataset and getting insights in a matter of minutes. Marc has 20+ years of experience at American Enterprise software vendors both as an Implementation Consultant and a Presales Consultant, and has worked with different types of software such as Collaboration and Content Management, CRM, Project Management and now Visual Analytics.
Outside of Tableau, Marc has a passion for travelling and outdoor activities, and even uses Tableau to analyse the data on running races he participates in.

Ashley Rayner

Head of BI and Analytics, Kayo Sports

Ashley Rayner is the Head of BI and Analytics at Kayo Sports. He started his data career as an accountant and instantly fell in love with the power of visualising data to allow for improved speed in decision making, which quickly attracted him to Tableau. Moving to Australia his first role was to implement an end to end BI solution for an ASX200 company, introducing Alteryx and Tableau within Microsoft Azure. Now at Kayo Sports, the team uses Tableau across all areas of the business including data governance, ETL, Real Time reporting and advanced analytics, and promotes a self-service culture teaching the business how to answer their own questions.

Sam Batchelor

Data Visualisation Lead, Origin

Sam has a passion for telling stories with data that help people make better business decisions. An accomplished analyst with experience across multiple industries, Sam has proven ability in data analytics, performance reporting and business and systems analysis. She is also an accredited Tableau trainer and has delivered courses on behalf of Tableau all across Australia.
