Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Cleveland Indians

The Cleveland Indians Baseball Club, established in 1901 as one of the four Charter members of the American League, is an organization dedicated to creating memories, connecting generations and celebrating families.

Neil Weiss has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer with the Cleveland Indians since 2013.

With 20 years of information technology (IT) experience, Neil has built, rebuilt and managed technology operations across multiple industries. He previously served as Senior Vice President and CIO to Jackson Family Enterprises, special consultant to Williams-Sonoma, Inc. and as VP of Information Systems for Smith and Hawken. Weiss began his IT career with Andersen Consulting before moving to KPMG and later Gap, Inc.

Though the industries, companies and products have varied, Neil’s professional career has always focused on how to best use technology to support the delivery of products and experiences to customers, in ways that are effective, profitable and measurable.
