Tableau Prep is available at no extra charge to Tableau Desktop customers that are on a subscription license or are current on maintenance as of April 24, 2018.
You'll have 30 days to experience Tableau Prep before you'll need to enter a Tableau Prep or Tableau Creator product key.

Customer Portal for License Admins
- Log into your Customer Portal and go to "All Keys Report"
- You will find a Tableau Prep key in each qualifying portal account. Existing Tableau Desktop keys do not work with Tableau Prep. You must use your Tableau Prep key.

Not a License Admin?
You'll have 30 days with Tableau Prep before you’ll need to enter a Tableau Prep or Tableau Creator product key. Contact your Tableau Administrator or IT department to get your Tableau Prep key.
