Transforming Service Delivery in Public Health

The pandemic has propelled Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies into the digital age along with an increased demand for citizen services. Now more data than ever before is collected by and on behalf of individuals. Yet, harnessing that data to drive better service delivery can difficult due to varying access levels, disparate sources, and limited resources.

For Wisconsin's Department of Health Services, access to accessible, quality data is key to improving program quality, achieving cost efficiencies, and delivering public health data to citizens. Watch this fireside chat to hear how their team has evolved their data strategy to where it is today, the factors that drove their modernization efforts, and advice to others on how best to get started.

Attendees also learned how analytics can:

  • Reduce data silos to improve collaboration and effectiveness
  • Empower the workforce through data literacy and self-service tools to better manage risk and increased demand
  • Improve communication and trust with the public through transparent, concise data
