About the speakers


Aaron Butler

Practice Area Leader - Strategy & Operations, Slalom Consulting

Aaron is the Practice Area Lead for Strategy & Operations in Slalom’s Houston office. His focus is on enterprise and functional strategy, operational effectiveness, functional and process improvement and aligning people, processes and systems in order to improve business performance. Aaron has more than 15 years of management, strategy and operations experience across the globe in high‑risk industries, including energy, aerospace and healthcare.

Prior to working in the private sector, Aaron spent five years at the European Space Agency in Germany where he was Director of Mission Operations for Europe's first long-duration mission to the International Space Station. Prior to that he certified as a Mission Specialist in NASA’s Mission Operations Directorate in Houston. Aaron holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business.


Brian Wolfe

Practice Area Leader - Information Management & Analytics, Slalom Consulting

Brian has over 20 years of consulting and industry experience focused in oil & gas and manufacturing. He has spent over 10 years leading large and complex business intelligence, analytics and information management programs across leading technologies for Fortune 100 companies.

Brian has exceptional skill in aligning business and IT goals to drive business value from initiatives including BI, Analytics, MDM, and EPM initiatives as well as ERP deployments.

Brian holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
