With increased demand for data and analytics during the COVID-19 crisis, Tableau and Amazon Web Services partnered to support state and local governments in keeping their constituencies informed—from scaling their internal Tableau deployments to creatively leveraging platforms like Tableau Public to communicate data as quickly as possible. In this session, you’ll learn how Tableau and AWS address analytics infrastructure challenges, and you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at Tableau Public architecture on AWS—including how Tableau & AWS support surges in traffic, with learnings to apply to securely scaling your own Tableau deployment in the cloud.

Analytics Jam
We will showcase Tableau in a live, virtual room of engineers and developers tasked with solving challenges at the AWS Jam hosted during the 3- week program. Challengers will connect to an Amazon Redshift cluster, then use Tableau to solve a number of questions in order to earn points.
