Google BigQuery ML in Tableau

Machine learning has been topical in analytics. While powerful, it can also seem a bit nebulous and deter anyone that works with data, given the skill set required to train and create predictive models. This is where Tableau comes in: Pairing Google Cloud’s machine learning feature with Tableau BigQuery connector enables embedded machine learning that helps train models and manipulate parameters easily. We’ll demonstrate with publicly available data and a set of predictors to show how easy it is to see Google’s ML analysis in Tableau. We'll consider some use cases that predict basketball outcomes, customer lifetime value, wine quality, beer prices, gas prices, home prices, and storm surge.
