This year has seen an explosion of blogs about Tableau. It's hugely enjoyable to read your posts each month. Whether its beginner tips, jedi hacks or constructive commentary, we're always cheered by the time people spend sharing their ideas. Each month we curate the best content in our Best Of... series.

What are we grateful for this month? A bountiful harvest of incredible blog posts! It was a bumper crop of Tableau tips and hints for everyone from the beginner on up to Jedi-level. So go ahead—tuck into this delightful spread of Tableau tips, tutorials, and clever hacks!

We have announced the 2014/15 Tableau Zen Masters! Read our post to discover which customers have made the biggest contributions to the Tableau Community in the past year.

Here at Tableau, we are so often blown away by the dedication of customers in our community. Tableau User Groups (TUGs for short) are the perfect example. Our User Groups are organically formed communities that meet throughout the year to share best practices and Tableau experiences. We have geographical, industry and company-specific TUGs meeting all over the globe.

At Tableau, the end of the summer doesn't mean back-to-school, it means back to CONFERENCE! With TC14 right around the corner it's no surprise that there are a ton of great posts this month, chalk full of sweet Tableau gems.

Recently, one of our longtime friends, Andy Kriebel asked why we've dropped "customer" from our conference name. The answer? We welcome everyone to come and talk about data. The outcome of that is to further inspire our customers.

Last month was Data Journalism Month over on the Tableau Public site, and we had the pleasure of shining the spotlight on the women and men who tell the world's data stories for their profession. We interviewed Sarah Ryley from the New York Daily News and Claire Miller from the Trinity Mirror in the UK. We shared our thoughts on how data visualization enhances the news, and we announced a 5 week online course for journalists. We joined journalists at news:rewired, Tapestry and NICAR, and posted some of the training materials we covered.
