The 7 Hats of Data Visualisation: A 2017 Reboot

If you’re looking to create insightful, beautiful, and remarkable data visualisations – all at the same time - you need to be more than just a data analyst. Data viz expert Andy Kirk believes that data visualisation is a multidisciplinary art comprised of seven key roles which you need to fulfill within the design process.

In this live webinar Andy Kirk will illustrate the role of each of the seven ‘hats’ in the data visualisation process, which can either be worn by a single professional or different team members. Andy will discuss how each of the seven roles contribute to the finished product and where they fit within the design process timeline. He will differentiate knowledge from skills, attitudinal maturity from technical intelligence. He will also advise on some of the strategies that will help you continue to develop and refine your data visualisation literacy.

By the end of this webinar you'll be well equipped to manage your next data visualisation project from a new integrated perspective.
