With 2018.3, Tableau launched Set Actions allowing anyone to change the membership of a set by visually selecting marks! This is an amazing feature that opens insane new interactive possibilities such as proportional brushing, benchmarking, cohort analysis, period comparisons, conditional aggregation, and asymmetric drill down to name a few. However, the supremacy of sets as the ultimate action was quickly challenged by parameter actions.
