Tableau Server 9.0 features a number of new capabilities. To support them, we’ve introduced new server processes that you’ll see on the server status page. Here's a brief overview of these updates and how they help maintain High Availability with Tableau Server.

Here in the United Kingdom where I work, we’re counting down until the general election on May 8. It’s a fascinating election as our nation comes to grips with coalition politics. Recently we were alerted to the fact that video of a confidential Tableau product marketing meeting was uploaded to YouTube. We’ve never had a leak like this before—and we took some time to decide the most “Tableau” way of handling it.
