With 85 offices and over 2,500 employees, the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) contracts over $10 billion in annual expenditures to keep our installations mission-ready. Tableau provides an intuitive means for our small business intelligence team to analyze over $600 billion in annual federal government-wide contract spend with ease. We use Tableau to identify opportunities for savings, provide performance metrics to leadership, increase collaboration through decentralized analysis, and support the implementation of the Presidential Category Management initiative. Tableau's powerful data visualization, combined with Microsoft SQL Server and Tableau Server, has reduced the number of manual data calls saving thousands of hours, while providing real-time data to senior leadership around the globe to make data-driven decisions.
