Tableau Software Ranked Number 122 Fastest Growing Company in North America on Deloitte’s 2012 Technology Fast 500™

Tableau Software today announced it ranked number 122 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Tableau Software grew 936 percent between fiscal years 2007 and 2011, the time period that determined the rankings.

For the 17th consecutive year, there are more software companies on the Technology Fast 500™ than any other single sector. Tableau has seen tremendous growth, with eight years of record sales and 83 percent sales growth in 2011.

Tableau Software’s Chief Marketing Officer, Elissa Fink, credits a growing thirst for easy-to-use analytics software for the company’s growth. “People are tired of complicated, inflexible and slow moving business intelligence systems. Overall, 2012 Technology Fast 500™ companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 128 percent to 279,684 percent from 2007 to 2011, with an average growth of 2,774 percent.
