Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA) has been named the gold medalist in the category of companies with more than 250 employees, 2015 Washington's Best Workplaces, by Puget Sound Business Journal. The program was launched in 2007 to identify and recognize best practices in the hiring and retention of great people. After an extensive and rigorous process, which included the completion of surveys by nominee-company employees across the state, workplaces in four different categories have been identified as Washington's best, based on their various employee benefit offerings, leadership culture and work/life balance philosophies. In total, 80 companies were named as finalists.

Tableau had 2,463 employees at the end of the second quarter of 2015, with 12 offices around the world.

“We’re honored to receive the gold for ‘Best Workplace’ for the third time in the past four years,” said Brett Thompson, Vice President of Human Resources at Tableau. “This award is special because it’s based primarily on employee feedback. We all contribute to building a fantastic place to work every day.”

The 2015 Washington’s Best workplaces winners were announced at Safeco Field on August 13 as the Puget Sound Business Journal revealed the 12 winners of its 2015 competition.
