Join the #FitData17 viz competition for a chance to win gear at TC17

Fellow data artists, this is your moment: Show off your vizzing skills to claim Lululemon gear at Tableau Conference!

Lululemon and Tableau are teaming up to give four lucky Tableau Conference attendees—plus one friend each—45 minutes of 1:1 time with the Lululemon team in Las Vegas for the ultimate fitness shopping experience. (And dudes, if you think Lululemon only has women’s apparel, think again. This competition is totally gender-inclusive.)

So if you’re into data and exercise—or simply exercising your data skills on a particularly athletic data set—then you need to open Tableau and connect to fitness data…stat.

Do you track your obsessive biking hobby on Strava? Do you always make it to Nike’s Sunday run? Do you track your long (and strenuous) walks on the beach on a FitBit? Create a viz using your personal fitness data, upload it to Tableau Public, and you’ll be on your way to slipping into some Lululemon apparel.

Viz submissions will be judged on the following criteria:

• Overall design: 25%
• Storytelling: 25% (You do not have to use Tableau’s storypoints feature)
• Accurate analysis: 25%
• Overall quality: 25%
