In this current role at Tableau, JY leads a team of passionate team members in Asia Pacific responsible for building the region’s business, and more importantly helping customers obtain insights from their data.
As a technical evangelist, Andy helps people see and understand their data using Tableau’s innovative products. He shares his passion for visual analysis and technology with his writing (e.g. ComputerWorld, tableau.com and his own blog), speaking at industry conferences like SXSW and Tableau’s own events. He's also active on Twitter @acotgreave.
Andy’s role at Tableau gives him the opportunity to work with the media, analysts and customers across all industries to help them understand the trends in visual analytics and develop their own data-discovery skills.
Ba Thein Naing
Ben's key responsibilities include connecting with the business and client team globally, extending the footprint of current tools and identify new analytical initiatives. His current effort is on how clients manage the health and wellness of their employees to become more productive through proactive healthcare management. He also works alongside the broking community to connect with the insurance market to identify new provider solutions that can add value to employer's health strategic agenda.
At Comcast, she focuses on transforming data into effective visualizations, assisting to develop Comcast’s Centre of Excellence for Tableau and also supports a cause that is close to her heart, Comcast’s internal Data + Women initiative which brings together the women community at Comcast to be their own analytics champions.
This passion has further driven her on a personal level to share about data and analytics on various occasions. She was also a past featured author on Tableau Public where she has published more than 120 beautiful and functional data visualizations. One was even picked by UNICEF to be used in their publications to spread awareness of migrant and refugee situations worldwide. She also co-blogs on thedataduo.com with Tableau’s Social Ambassador, Adam Crahen.
Punit is no stranger to data and has been interacting and making insightful discoveries for the past 14 years. Prior to BlueScope, he was the Market Intelligence and Strategy Manager for Linde Gas and his former roles include Regional Manager - Pricing & Market Offer Management and Regional Manager - Lean Six Sigma & PMO. He has been known to be able to see a vision, construct the business strategy, create and drive tactical plans using the executive skills that he has gained through his years of experience.
His enthusiasm and mastery of the products has led him to be a Tableau Zen Master, The 2013 Tableau Iron Viz Champion, Author of the 2015 Tableau Public Visualization of the Year, and author of Practical Tableau (O'Reilly). His blog drives a buzz in the community with tips and tricks to create amazing data visualizations and offers Tableau trainings that help people to better analyze their data. Communities are the essence of what makes Tableau unique and Ryan contributes greatly by running one of the most active Tableau user groups in North America.
