Backgrounders could become unavailable or unlicensed and not recover as expected on Windows.


The Vizqlserver process could crash frequently but recover automatically creating large crash dump files with some live data source connections.


A worksheet within a dashboard would appear blank if a parameter that limits data is increased to allow records to more than 300,000.


The error could occur, "Unexpected Error: Object doesn't support property of method 'blur' " when a custom view was saved in an iframe web portal embedded view with Internet Explorer.


Credentials and connection information could be blank when editing a published JDBC data source.


Error "System error: Unable to run input step: Failure evaluating to database: An unknown error related to remote content was detected (500)" could be received when running a flow on Tableau Server.


The message "Cannot read property 'get_toolbarCommands' of null", could be received starting in 2020.4.0 when switching to a tab that contained a text object.


With Tableau Server 2020.4.0 on Linux Debian 9 (.deb installer), the initialization fails while finalizing the topology after a successful activation and registration. The initialization is terminated at step 31 of 35 with the error "Finalizing the topology failed."

The Debian version does not correctly install on Debian 9. Ubuntu is unaffected


Starting with version 2020.4.0, the second page of an exported landscape PDF could be zoomed in to not match the scale of the first page.


A refresh extract of a data source with same name as another data source except with a different case (upper vs lower) would fail showing "Unable to complete action."


Tableau Server enabled with Azure Database as the external repository could fail to initialize if Postgres 12.4 on Azure Postgres Flexible Server public preview was used. The error would display with "Error: Must be superuser to create superusers" or "Error: Must be superuser to change bypassrls attribute."


Node became unlicensed when moving the license service to another node in multi-node server environment
