Andrew Beers
Andrew is Tableau's Chief Technology Officer, and is responsible for Tableau's long term technology roadmap and emerging technologies. During his tenure at Tableau, he has led many of the engineering teams, created new products for the company, and personally written pieces of the product code. Andrew has been at the very heart of Tableau's engineering for most of the company's existence. Prior to joining Tableau in 2004, Andrew ran the engineering group at Align Technology, makers of the Invisalign system, building software to support large-scale customized manufacturing. He holds a master's degree in computer science from Stanford University, where he worked in Pat Hanrahan's computer graphics research group.
Joseph Tan
Joseph is an Assistant Director in GovTech's Data Science and AI Division. He leads the Capability Development team that runs data initiatives to upskill public officers and uplift agencies across the whole-of-government, as well as the team responsible for executing data transformation efforts in GovTech. Prior to that, Joseph had undertaken roles in various public agencies, from academic roles to programme management. The suite of programmes and initiatives that his team currently runs for the WOG includes the Data Science & AI Competency Framework & Training Roadmaps, Data Science Connect (community building), Data Arcade Tournament (WOG Visual Analytics competition), Data Literacy ePrimer (eLearning for Data Literacy), Data Champions Bootcamp (Training programme for intermediate level) and more.
Ching Tuan Yee
Tuan Yee is Director (Physical Planning, East) of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), where he leads the planning team for Singapore’s East Region. He also leads the Planning Systems Support team, where he is involved in digitalisation strategies and initiatives, and is also covering Deputy Director (Urban Design & Technology). Prior to his current roles, he was part of the team involved in the planning and urban design of the Marina Bay area, from 2002 to 2015. Tuan Yee’s background is in architecture, town & regional planning, and city planning, and he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Yeo Wee Teck
Wee Teck is Senior Assistant Director of the Data Transformation Branch in the Transformation and Future Technology Department at the Singapore Civil Defence Force. With a background in Psychology, Wee Teck spent the first half of his 25-years career in the public sector as a psychologist at Ministry of Defence before pivoting to his passion in data analytics. His passion led him to SCDF where he has been for the last 5 years. Wee Teck currently leads a team of data analytics practitioners to facilitate evidence-based decision-making in order to achieve SCDF’s key business objectives and become a data-driven organization.
Raphael Park
Raphael is the Chief Performance Officer at the Washington DC, Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA). Prior to joining DCRA, he worked in DC Government for 10 years, previously working for the DC Metropolitan Police Department as a data analyst in the Office of Research Analytical Services, special assistant in the Executive Office of the Chief of Police, and program manager of the Risk Management Division. Raphael has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland, a Master of Public Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Michigan. Haikal Yeo
Haikal is Senior Analyst in the National Population and Talent Division under PMO-Strategy Group. Together with his team, he is involved in population planning and policy research to drive and coordinate Singapore’s immediate and longer-term population strategies. His Tableau journey began when he formed a team with Klarissa Khor to participate in GovTech’s Data Arcade Tournament 2020. Beyond Tableau, he likes going on nature walks with his family.
Klarissa Khor
Klarissa is Research Analyst and Planning Officer in the Research and Management Information Division and Planning Division at the Ministry of Education (MOE), where she reviews education policies and analyses data to support various MOE divisions in their work. Together with Haikal Yeo, she participated in GovTech’s Data Arcade Tournament 2020, and was thrilled to emerge as Champions for the Tableau track! In these COVID times, she misses playing squash in meetup groups and hopes to be able to do so again soon.
Chua Chee Pin
Chee Pin is the Regional Vice President of Tableau and responsible for the Singapore business. Prior to this role, he served as the ASEAN (ex Singapore) Field Enterprise and Emerging Market Sales Head for 3.5 years. Chee Pin’s past experience includes leading Brocade's Datacentre solution in ASEAN as well as working with leading global and local financial institutions at Cisco, EMC and Dimension Data (NTT) in executing their datacentre strategies.
Jeremy Blaney
At Tableau, Jeremy leads Tableau Blueprint, helping organizations scale the use of data and foster the right behaviors and beliefs that lead to a successful data culture. During his time at Tableau, Jeremy led data strategy for the COVID-19 Data Hub. Jeremy has also partnered with clients to build data capabilities, create data culture, and deliver business value, including the United Nations, global financial services firms, U.S. government agencies, and Fortune 500 retail companies.
Benjamin Tan
For the past decade, Benjamin has been immersed in the business intelligence industry with extensive knowledge and experience in data preparation, data warehousing, enterprise reporting and data visualization. His unique passion for visual analytics led him to the mastery of Tableau over the last 5 years. He has been active in supporting requirements from government, insurance and healthcare clients. Currently as the Lead Solution Engineer at Tableau, Benjamin continues to help many organizations realize their data discovery capabilities and be empowered with fresh insights at work.
Jacelyn Lim
Jacelyn is on a mission to help organizations go from “Huh?” to “Ah-ha!” as a Tableau Solution Engineer with SEA regional exposure to diverse industries. Outside of Tableau, her foodie passion can be found in her instant ramen viz and many other food related viz that she bookmarked on Tableau Public. And on other times, she enjoys a good stretch from yoga.
KJ Kim
KJ started her Tableau journey in the presales team where she honed her love of Tableau in 2015. Since then she’s moved to the Tableau community team focusing on growing the Academic program and most recently widening her scope to all of Community. When she isn’t vizzy working on bringing the #datafam together she’s spending time with her little one.
