SEATTLE, May 22, 2017 - Tableau (NYSE: DATA), the global leader in visual analytics, today announced the launch of an eLearning program that allows organizations to consistently and efficiently educate their employees. Now people can learn the ins and outs of Tableau at their own pace. Tableau eLearning is the latest addition to Tableau’s education landscape, which also includes instructor-led training, Tableau Conferences, online training videos, live online sessions and learning partners.

During the initial beta program, 78 percent of customers said they use Tableau more after the training. Students learn at their own pace, following a guided curriculum or lessons as needed.

Tableau eLearning consists of over 20 hours of engaging content, including hands-on activities and skills assessments to validate that students understand key concepts and leave with a foundational knowledge of Tableau while learning at their own pace.

“Tableau eLearning gives organizations an easy way to onboard customers and continue to grow their skills,” said Brian Nutt, VP of Global Services at Tableau. “The program has already inspired hundreds of people to dig deeper into their data and work more independently with Tableau Desktop.”

Tableau offers a number of training programs, from self-service opportunities such as free training videos and live webinars to intensive classroom instruction and hands-on sessions at Tableau Conferences. The various training options are designed to make people successful based on the way they learn best.
