Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA), a global leader in rapid-fire, easy-to-use business analytics software, today announced it has opened a German office in Frankfurt am Main. Earlier this year, Tableau announced Henrik Jorgensen as country manager for Austria, Germany and Switzerland and Roland Freygang as new channel manager. The Frankfurt office is the next step in further expanding Tableau’s presence in the DACH region.
Tableau continues to make large investments in Europe. The company now has more than 100 employees in Europe and thousands of customers and organizations using its software. The DACH region is playing a major role in this expansion due to its strong IT industry and its influence on neighboring countries as the largest business intelligence market in Europe.
“The German speaking market plays a very important role in our European expansion”, said James Eiloart, Vice President EMEA for Tableau Software. “We continue to grow our European sales and the DACH region is a key contributor to this growth. Our Germany headquarters in Frankfurt should only help to enhance our presence in the region.”
”The addition of our German office, along with our increased hiring in the region is critical to increasing our footprint and awareness,” said Henrik Jorgensen, Country Manager for Austria, Germany and Switzerland at Tableau Software. “It’s also important for our customers and partners to have access to local sales and support team that can help them see and understand their data.”
Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA) helps people see and understand data. Tableau helps anyone quickly analyze, visualize and share information.
