Austin Business Journal Recognized Tableau Among Winners in the Medium-Company Category
Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA) has been named one of Austin’s 2013 Best Places to Work in Central Texas. Tableau was recognized as one of 65 Austin-area companies, 20 of which make up the medium-company category with 51-250 employees. Austin Business Journal honored the Best Places to Work winners at a special luncheon and awards presentation at the Renaissance Austin Hotel on June 6, 2013.
Tableau opened its Austin office in 2012 at the Arboretum Great Hills Center and will be moving to its permanent space at One American Center in July. The company is headquartered in Seattle, WA and also has other U.S. offices in Kirkland, WA and Menlo Park, CA. It has international offices in London, Singapore and Japan.

As part of the nomination process, Tableau employees filled out an anonymous survey about the company’s work environment, benefits and other qualities that make a rewarding workplace.
