Tableau Honored to be one of Washington’s Best Workplaces

It’s an honor to be recognized as one of Washington’s Best Workplaces by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The list began with 230 nominees, was narrowed down to 85 finalists and finally, at a ceremony at Safeco Field, we were named the Silver award winner in the large companies category. It is humbling to be named among other Washington companies we know and respect.

As part of the nomination process, I was asked what qualities we look for when hiring people. I replied with the list below. We are looking for exceptional people who:

• seek to understand before forming opinions.
• fundamentally respect others.
• like to work on a team.
