Homecare Homebase (HCHB), based in Dallas, TX, is the leading healthcare software company serving the technology needs of the post-acute care industry. HCHB offers a comprehensive web-based software solution to improve the clinical, operational and financial success of homecare and hospice agencies. HCHB is part of the Hearst Health network, whose mission is to guide the most important care moments by delivering vital information into the hands of everyone who touches a person’s health journey.
Tableau is continuing to invest in expanding the scheduling, distribution and alerting capabilities of Tableau Server. Bryant will discuss the current capabilities and new features coming in Tableau 10.3, as well as extending those features to meet your needs when embedding Tableau into your product suite. He will also go over the Behold! Emailer, which uses the extensible features of Tableau to provide PDF emailing as a service.
Large software management systems are a must in many industries. Heathcare is no exception. While these systems typically shine when processing business transactions, reporting is many times limited to recent data as well as functionality. A data warehouse solution with a separate data visualization system provides an answer but at a cost of lack of integration. At Piedmont we tackled this issue by innovatively embedding Tableau Dashboards in their EHR and utilizing built-in functionality to link the reports at the record level. In this presentation we will review the implementation and approach to the various challenges we encountered.
