On-Demand Webinar

Transforming Healthcare Data into Insight in the Classroom

Ralf had been teaching statistical analysis for decades when he came across Tableau in 2011. He has taught a course entitled 'Data Analytics and Visualisation for Public Health and Business with Tableau' at the School of Public Health in Bielefeld every year since 2011.

In this webinar, Ralf will talk about his experience introducing students to Tableau. He will discuss his use of Tableau Online in the classroom, and show some of the dashboards produced by his students.

Ralf will also discuss the creation of the Demographic Data Lab, a collection of stories related to demography and health hosted on Tableau Public. The Demographic Data Lab enables students to explore health-related data, and it can be used by students (and non-students!) worldwide.

Watch this webinar to learn:

  • Is teaching students Tableau difficult, and do students of public health tend to enjoy learning Tableau?
  • How can Tableau Online be used in the classroom?
  • In what ways is Tableau Public useful for students and researchers?
